Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers) are fully initiated, practicing Catholics who serve our parish community by assisting the clergy with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during celebrations of the Mass.
Serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion should increase one’s desire to learn more about our Catholic faith and to increase our reverence for the Real Presence of Jesus Christ.
Requirements:
- Baptized & Confirmed Catholic;
- At least 25 years of age;
- Registered parishioner of San Antonio de Padua;
- “Faithful participant in the Sunday Eucharist and with God’s grace in every aspect of their lives”; and
- Attend required training session(s).
